Heyfordian Coach Sales Ltd is a wholly owned subsidiary of Heyfordian Holdings Ltd.
Heyfordian Travel Ltd with it’s head office and works located in Bicester, Oxfordshire operate a large fleet of modern luxury coaches.
Originally operating from the Oxfordshire village of Upper Heyford the business was established in 1947. It is a family owned and managed company by four directors, sons of the founder who, despite his advanced years, still has an active share in the business. Despite the ongoing challenges faced by the industry, the company prides itself in maintaining a high quality service to it’s customers, and enjoys an enviable reputation.
The Heyfordian Group recently acquired the long and established Tappins Coaches of Didcot, Oxfordshire. With a fleet of over 60 coaches, it is possible that, between the two fleets, around 120 coaches are available for hire over a wider geographical area – large swathes of Oxfordshire and Buckinghamshire being the predominant counties.
Heyfordian’s reputation has been built on reliability and safety. This means providing the type of service the customer wants – punctual, efficient and friendly. Heyfordian’s fleet is maintained at it’s own in-house engineering facility guaranteeing the highest standard of safety and reliability.
Heyfordian Coach Sales Ltd aim is to build the dealership in the style and traditions of the parent company.
Key staff have between them decades of experience within the coach sales industry:-
Tony Harvey is Business Development Manager and responsible for the sales of all new and used coaches. His 30 years in the industry includes a 20 year period with Volvo Bus and more recently at Coach Europe, Leicestershire and Mentor Coach and Bus, Hellaby. He has a comprehensive knowledge of Spanish built coaches.
Andy Elliott is Technical and After-Sales Manager. He has over 20-years experience working in the commercial vehicle market. His technical knowledge of Ayats Luxury Coaches is “second to none”, he is available 24/7 and is able to help operators with any technical query either on current or past Ayats coaches.
Wilf Lewis is Sales Administrator. His coach sales experience spans some 23 years having spent over 21 years with Salvador Caetano (UK) Ltd and latterly with Mentor Coach and Bus, Hellaby. His background includes both Sales and Administration – he is responsible for all office related procedures relating to the sale of new and used coaches, factory, customer and finance company liaison, advertising, and a host of other menial tasks the other two don’t want to do…
In a nutshell, they are all industry professionals whose aim is to provide a service to customers with Ayats Luxury Coaches, whether they are operating coaches from their early appearance in the UK or the very latest products.
